And what I mean is doing this before you actually start the liturgy so that you are not flipping through the pages during the particular Mass or service trying to figure out what to do next.

SAY THE BLACK
DO THE RED
... nothing more, nothing less.
The faithful deserve (and have Canonical right to) liturgy "by the books."
